Martin has seen a wide variety of musical experience such as the Gottschalk Music Center Concert Band, Azul Saxophone Quartet, Bad Street Blues Band, Harlan Star Band, Jazz Unlimited, Tradewinds Dance Band, Vinni Smith, The Fabulous Blue Notes, Ernie Bucio's Little Big Band, Ernie Bucio's Latin Jazz, and Funk Band, Kid Charlemagne, Johnnie Valdes and Straight Ahead, and his own jazz quartet- Blue and Beige. Martin has also performed with and opened for such artists as Clark Terry, James Moody, Bill Watrous, Jon Faddis, Maynard Ferguson, Ed Thigpen, Ray Charles, Mel Martin, Sal Nistico, Gary Foster, Plas Johnson, Bobby Shew, Bruce Foreman, Grant Geissman, Rodney Richardson, Mike Vax, Charlie Musselwhite, Mic Gillette, Gabriel Manzo, Pete Escovedo, John Santos, ,Arturo Sandoval, The Temptations, Little Anthony and the Imperials, Ink Spots,Carol Channing, Marilyn Borden, Cheech Marin, Bob Newhart, Myron Floren, Walter Aziz, Ashur Bet Sargis, Megan Slankard, Travis Vega, and Flying Blind.
